harvest vegetables & chicken

Ingredients

3 cups Water (for cooking)
1 Organic Chicken Breast- rinsed and chopped into small pieces
1⁄2 cup cooked Organic Corn (fresh or frozen)
1 Organic Carrot – peeled and chopped
1 small Organic Sweet Potato – peeled and chopped
3⁄4 cup of cooked Organic Quinoa
Dash of Organic Parsley
Dash of Organic Onion Powder

Directions

  • Step1

    Put water in large pot over high heat. Insert metal steamer tray. Add chicken, parsley and onion powder and steam until soft enough to insert fork easily. Chicken should be opaque and not pink. (about 7 minutes)

  • Step2

    Remove chicken from the steamer tray.

  • Step3

    Add corn, carrot, and sweet potato and steam until soft enough to insert fork (about 7 minutes)

  • Step4

    Place chicken, vegetables, and cooked quinoa into food processor with ¾ cup reserved water (from steaming). Blend until smooth.

  • Step5

    Once prepared, refrigerate your homemade babyfood with in 2 hours and use within 24 hours. For later use, store the puree in the freezer in airtight containers portioned into individual serving sizes and use within one week.
